Description
The foundation of Exte Fixator
o Non-Sterile - FEST II is to provide biomechanical stability of bone fixation in cases of osteosynthesis, with the purpose of lengthening, aligning, stabilizing, reducing fractures, with its stay being temporary, that is, until bone consolidation occurs.
The reception structure for the fastener components are platforms connected by a body (rigid metallic structure = rail) with intrinsic mobility.
The fixator components are composed of nuts, screws, washers, articulators, compressors, distractors, among other elements, which aim to maintain bone alignment during the consolidation process and must not support weight, except that indicated by the surgeon.
For the Fixator to Extract
o Non-Sterile - FEST II has the intended performance of use, it must be used with the ancillary components, which are Pins and Bone Wires, considered as implants (Risk Class III) and are not part of this product, and must be purchased separately and have their own registration with ANVISA.

The Exte Fixer
Non-Sterile - FEST II is indicated for bone lengthening or shortening, correction of deformities, fractures and in cases of poor or lack of union, with or without loss of bone mass. Allows segmental correction (multiple levels).
The fixator elements must be used in medium and long bone structures of the extremities of the human body.
