Fixation System for Laminoplasty
Description
The Laminoplasty Fixation System consists of components: Cervical Plates and Cortical Screws, whose main function is to enable the fixation of the bone grafting material and maintain spinal cord decompression, after Laminoplasty surgery in the low cervical and high thoracic (C3 - T3) regions of the spine. The Cortical Screws that make up the Laminoplasty Fixation System are medical, metallic, implantable products, which have a head with a spherical profile, with a star drive type connection (hexalobe), a body equipped with a cortical thread with an asymmetrical profile, full thread, with the aim of being used in conjunction with the Cervical Plates, for fixation in the bone tissue of the vertebrae of the lower cervical and upper thoracic region (C3 - T3), in laminoplasty procedures. The Cervical Plates that make up the Laminoplasty Fixation System are medical, metallic, implantable products, which have an anatomical profile, a body equipped with round and/or oblong holes, to accommodate the Cortical Screws. The finish of the medical products belonging to the Laminoplasty Fixation System is satin and the treatment is carried out through electrocoloration in graphite color.
