Suturfix Needled Surgical Suture
Description
The commercial models that make up the Suturfix Needled Surgical Suture family are classified as surgically invasive implantable medical products for long-term use.
The surgical suture thread is of synthetic origin, manufactured with braided multifilament Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) of high resistance, non-absorbable and with a sterile needle. It has surgical numbers 2 and 2-0 (metric numbers 5 and 3, respectively) and various lengths: 45 cm, 75 cm and 90 cm; meets USP (United States Pharmacopeia) and NBR 13904 requirements.
The curved needle is manufactured with XM-16 Stainless Steel, atraumatic, pierced, curved, cylindrical, ½ circle, 20 and 25 mm long. The straight needle is manufactured with F138 Stainless Steel, atraumatic, pierced, straight, cylindrical, 255 mm long. Meet the requirements of NBR 13911 and ASTM F138
